You could be more liberal in your thinking, which may mean that you are open to accepting different points of view today. It might be that you see the value in learning to appreciate ideas that are vastly different from your own, and by embracing the new thoughts and opinions, you recognize that you arrive at a greater understanding of mysteries of the world around you. Being able to suspend judgment no matter what ideas you come across could help you be more receptive to views that are unlike your own. Should you hear something that causes negative or critical thoughts to arise today, you might remind yourself of the value there is in diversity. Being open to something new doesn't mean you have to wholeheartedly agree with it, but simply acknowledge it.

Relinquishing our inner critic allows us to see that all ideas have merit; we will gain deeper insights into the world once we accept this. If we were only to expose ourselves to the ideas that speak to us, our perspective would become skewed. Opening ourselves to alternative ways of thinking, however, challenges us to question everything we know, which in turn will add deeper meaning to our lives. It is through this respect for, and acknowledgement of, differences that we begin to see the beauty that exists in the range of ideas in this world. By being broadminded and nonjudgmental, you will find that truth and understanding exist in many forms.
