Tristan: The inspiration came from seeing so many people struggle with misconceptions about metabolism. They were trying quick fixes or fad diets without understanding the underlying science. The core principles of this course are clarity, simplicity, and science. It's designed to provide clear, actionable steps based on scientific research to help people enhance their metabolic health. The course is all about transforming how you approach diet, exercise, and your lifestyle, making metabolism optimization a natural part of your daily routine.
DailyOM: Many people struggle with maintaining a healthy metabolism, especially as they age. What unique challenges does this course address?
Tristan: Metabolism naturally changes with age, but that doesn't mean we're powerless. This course tackles key issues like slowing metabolic rate, hormonal changes, and lifestyle factors that can impact metabolism. We dive into how different types of exercise, from strength training to NEAT (Non-Exercise Activity Thermogenesis) activities like taking the stairs and parking farther away, can rev up the metabolic engine. We also look at dietary adjustments, stress reduction, and the role of sleep — all tailored to work with your body's natural rhythms, not against them.

Tristan: Supplements are a hot topic, and rightly so. In the course, we take a balanced view. We discuss how supplements like omega-3s, probiotics, and B vitamins, just to name a few, can support metabolic health, but they're not magic bullets. We focus on integrating these supplements wisely into a holistic approach that includes diet and lifestyle changes. It's about using supplements as tools, not crutches.

Tristan: This course is packed with a variety of resources, each tailored to help participants fully understand and improve their metabolism. I wanted it to feel conversational — like you're talking with your best friend. It's also short, sweet, and to the point but packed with juicy information. And every lesson includes thought-provoking journal prompts and practical action steps to ensure you understand the material and recognize how to easily apply it to your life.
I also include several resources: my Macros Made Simple ebook provides everything you need to understand how to balance your intake of protein, carbohydrate, and fat, and how to use this to your advantage.
