A meditative mood today may have you seeking isolation. Your goal may be to escape from stress and distraction in order to more fully turn within. If you can spend your day this way, you may emerge feeling refreshed. But if you aren't able to cloister yourself, you may need to seek creative ways of connecting to your center. You may not need much time to yourself if you are able to connect fully. This can be done on a break or whenever you get the chance to step away from the activity around you. Or you may have an opportunity to practice becoming centered in the midst of activity. However you can manage it, taking time to turn within today will help you feel your best.

With regular practice it becomes easier to make the connection to our center regardless of what surrounds us. The truth is that we are always connected, but we are not always aware of this connection. It is the part of us that is universal and timeless, which is why it can supply us with the energy we need in the space of a thought or the nurturing release of a deep breath. Though taking longer periods of time to immerse ourselves in meditation can be a wonderful experience, we don't need very much time or space to be aware. Knowing this, you can take a deep breath today and turn within when you need to feel centered and energized from your source.
