We can show understanding for our family members' feelings and do our best to help without letting the emotion affect us unduly. We can more easily be there to support each other with a clear mind if we remain calm and anchored in the peace within. Though you may empathize with your family members and loved ones today, you can remain at peace within yourself. There are many times when loved ones are reacting to their own experiences but take their frustrations out on us because they feel safe with us. We do not have to react to this personally. Instead we can realize that it has nothing to do with us and express sympathy for their situation.
