A temperamental mood can make human interaction seem like a chore today. You may find that behaviors you might otherwise have ignored irritate you greatly, leaving you unable to concentrate on anything else. Your grumpiness may, however, simply be the result of a sincere desire to spend time alone. This can be a wonderful time to retreat into the solitude of your home or some other private space so that you can get reacquainted with yourself in peace and quiet. Freed from the influences of others, you can concentrate on only those subjects that you feel are most enlightening today, thus pleasing yourself and discovering who you are at the same time.
There are times in our lives when we feel most comfortable spending the majority of our waking hours away from the company of others because we need to center ourselves apart from any potential sources of irritation. Attaining an objective outlook can be difficult when the influence of others' thoughts and feelings is working subtly on our hearts and minds. Removing ourselves from situations in which we will be distracted from our reflection allows us to reach a place of equilibrium that takes into account the different aspects of the self as they exist independently of the world around us. Here, we can both perceive the quiet voice of our inner selves and accept that our emotions are unsullied. Your temperamental mood will leave you today when you give yourself adequate opportunities to sink into the peace that solitude affords.
