Your mind and heart may be overcome by tension today as you struggle to address the many tasks on your agenda. You are likely pushing yourself to your limit in order to move from task to task at an adequate pace, and you may find yourself beginning to falter and tire as the day wears on. To ensure that you do not exhaust yourself, consider reviewing your schedule to determine how best to approach your duties. You may find that many of the objectives you might otherwise have dubbed vital are, in actuality, far less important than you imagined. If you put these aside in favor of more imperative tasks today, you will likely feel much less harried.

When we choose not to allocate our time and energy to nonessential tasks, we can devote more of our resources to those objectives that are important to us personally or significant in the context of our continued survival. So much of what we do each day ultimately proves nonimperative to our health, happiness, and well-being. Though some tasks will likely be important to us by virtue of their being important to people we care about, other objectives can be cut from our daily agendas without consequence. Prioritization can be challenging because it forces us to assess our day-to-day lives in a very critical manner, but the rewards we reap once we are comfortable approaching our schedules in this way are enormous. You will no longer feel overwhelmed by your roster of duties today after you cull it by dispensing with the tasks you do not consider vital.
