Your inner child might be calling you out to play today which could make you feel more vibrant and young at heart. Tapping into the part of yourself that is innocent, playful, and trusting might be a way for you to infuse your life with greater joy and wonder. Perhaps you can try to recapture this sense of childlike play by giving yourself permission to 'play' today by doing something fun such as going out to the park and swinging on the swings, building a sand castle on the beach or doing some finger-painting today. Even though it may seem easy to do, should you might notice that it is difficult to completely let go, you might think back to when you were a child and remember how much happiness you experienced from the simple act of doing, not completing.

Letting go of our desire to do everything perfectly and to please others is a wonderful way to evoke the playful awe we had as children. As adults, the urge to play is strong, but often so carefully constructed or organized that it can feel like many of our other activities. Allowing ourselves to be totally free, however, means that we release any need we have for things to be a certain way – we use our spirit and senses to experience the world instead of crafting or analyzing it. By giving yourself the time, space and freedom to play, your spirit will run free and unbound by your everyday concerns today.
