Choose your body fat storing type


What I mean here by your "body type" is how and where you gain the most pounds and store your fat. This information indicates the root biological cause of your weight gain or inability to lose weight. Knowing where you hold the majority of your weight will help you unlock the secret to losing pounds all over.

Hips & Thighs & Butt/Estrogen Type – storing your fat in your hips and thighs reveals an estrogen dominance in you body. Your progesterone is probably low and not able to balance out your high estrogen.

What to eat: Add a lot more cruciferous vegetables into your diet (like kale, collards, broccoli, cabbage, sauerkraut and fermented veggies, beets, cauliflower and brussel sprouts) as they contain a substance called DIM & fiber that flushes estrogens out of the body– 2lbs a day is optimal!. Steam, sautee, & bake them and add them to meals.

Belly/Cortisol type – Belly fat tends to point to stress and the production of too much of the stress hormone cortisol as well as estrogen.

What to eat: Bell peppers for the vitamin C – more than in oranges! Vitamin C is very effective at helping the body manage stress.

Muffin top/Insulin Type – love handles are a sign of a poor efficiency of insulin use in your body as well as a suppressed thyroid, which leads to storing more fat. Skipping meals and eating junky diet foods can cause high insulin levels that send the pounds straight to your middle.

What to eat: Instead of bingeing on sugary snacks, crackers or bread, eat more healthy fats and proteins. These foods will improve your insulin resistance. Put the unmodified potato starch on everything you can think of!

Make sure not to overeat, just snack and stop when you're 80% full. This will pass if you take extreme self-care at this time, give it about 2 weeks to feel less hungry and craving everything all the time.

Upper arms/Low Testosterone /Unstable blood sugar Type – storing fat in your upper arms/shoulder area suggests you may have out of balance testosterone levels, in combination with unstable blood sugar. You need testosterone and stable blood sugar to burn fat and build muscle mass.

What to eat: Good fats like avocados which are also a great source of bioidentical testosterone, and proteins for amino acids.
