You may have obligations to your family or loved ones which may make you feel hindered today. Maybe you feel this way because it might seem that your responsibilities take up valuable time that you could otherwise be spending out with friends or doing your own thing. If you can keep in mind that nothing in life is permanent, you may find it easier to let go of the frustration you feel toward those close to you. Just knowing that your duties will not always take up all of your time today could help you to see that there will once again be a time when you can do what you want. Reminding yourself of this could lessen the annoyance you may temporarily feel at being detained and may even make it easier for you to realize the importance of doing what is right over always doing what you want.

Our responsibilities will not always be a part of our lives. While this may not always seem to be the case when we are right in the middle of our duties, the fact is that nothing lasts forever -- consciously taking this into account diminishes any feelings we have that what we have to do will last without end. Even though it may seem uncomfortable at first, once we realize that there will be an end to our obligations, we will begin to feel better about them. Once you understand that your responsibilities will have an end, you will feel better about doing them today.
