Hello, welcome to the month of March. As we move closer to spring, we naturally receive a boost of new energy and this includes our creative energy. This month I'm writing about one of my favorite topicscreativity! I'm sure I can safely say that most of you have, at some point, told yourself you are not a creative person. Or perhaps you had a sibling or friend that you found to be very creative, leaving you feeling not good enough. Still, others were told by parents that creativity was a waste of time and that you cannot make a living through being a creative person. All of these untruths can be reversed with a little effort.
I believe that being a creative person is our birthright and that we are naturally creative beings. Being a creative person doesn't mean you have to be an artist such as a painter or sculptor. Your creativity can manifest in everyday things, like how you create your own life each dayfrom what you wear to how you decorate your home and prepare meals. This is all creativity in action.
During the four Mondays in March, the DailyOM story will be about some form of creativity. I would love for all of you to revisit creativity in your life and try to notice if it is lacking or if you want to try something new. Take some time to journal about your feelings on being a creative person and see what comes up for you. Below, I have highlighted several courses available to help open your soul to its creative self.

All the courses are for regular people like you and I. I truly hope that the articles and courses help you open up your creative side a little more and help bring some lightness and fun to your life.
I grew up feeling the pressure of having to be someone I wasn't in order to fit in, basically not ever feeling good enough which lead to fears and feelings of not being deserving of the good things that life had to offer. Those feelings followed me throughout my teen-age years and on well into adulthood. I played the comparison game until the pressure became insane and the self deprecation a daily exercise..."If I only I was as skinny or as pretty as her.", "If I had her job and her income, I'd have it made.", "Why can't I have a relationship like they have?" The time is NOW to amp up your own attraction factor by blasting to bits the "not enough" messages, claim or re-claim your own personal power and confidence, kick fear and negative thoughts to the curb so that you attract the "good stuff" you truly deserve.
