The Healing of Relationships
Acknowledging Our Pain In Relation To Others

by Madisyn Taylor

All relationships, whether they are friends or family, need attention and healing.

Dear Friends,

It is nice to be with you again through my monthly letter. Now that we are deeply rooted into autumn, I find myself in transition when I begin to feel the burrowing of winter not too far off. As I slowly return to deep introspection, I await the levels of myself that will be revealed to me in my personal writings. With the holiday season advancing on us, we project what our family gatherings may look like, and for some it can be an uncomfortable and even dreaded time.

For many of us, we have deep wounds when it comes to non-romantic relationships and family relationships. The holiday season can trigger us instantaneously, and it happens year after year like a broken record. There is no time like the present to start healing your wounds with your loved ones. The longer your carry this hurt, the more deeply seated it becomes in your body and the more harm it does to you. Who wants that?! I never ask anybody to do what I myself haven't already tried—that is the basis of my DailyOM writing. I can assure you that healing the wounds you have with people will set you free in ways you cannot even imagine.

The following four online courses can be of assistance to you in your journey to help heal your relationships with other people, whether it is your best friend or a family member. What I love about our courses is that they bring so much awareness to the issue at hand, validation that you are not alone, and then practical steps to guide you through the muck until you get to the other side.
