Active Participant for Peace
Cancer Daily Horoscope

You may feel an overwhelming sense of compassion for others today. This sense of caring could encourage you to reach out a helpful hand to others. You might feel the need to be supportive of loved ones, or you may wish to serve those in your community. Today would be a great time to practice random acts of kindness. Perhaps you could volunteer for a few hours in a local organization. You may also decide to donate to a charity of your choice. Even giving a kind and encouraging word or listening attentively to someone would be a generous gift that will provide a service to others. Helping others will pave the way for you to develop deeper relationships within your community.

Giving support to others through service means that you are an active participant in creating a peaceful world. By taking the time to consider the needs of others, you generate compassion and begin developing selflessness. When you find a way to serve, you become more attuned to the concerns of the world around you. This means that you create a greater understanding of yourself, your community, and the world as a whole. With this awareness comes the realization that many of your problems and those of others are universal. Once you recognize this universality, you can generate compassion for all beings in an unselfish way. Allow yourself to become involved in your community today, and you will begin to relinquish your ego and help others solely for the joy service brings.
