Here we are again--a new month and soon entering a new season. Officially summer is winding down, children are back in school (yay!), and we start to adjust to new schedules.

I didn't really get much of a summer break this year as I have been working on a new book, which will be available in January! This book has been years in the making, and I'm both excited and nervous to set it free in the New Year. Finishing this book has been an emotional roller coaster for me as the subject matter is so tender and close to my heart, often leaving me a puddle on the floor. Emotional healing has so many layers, and I found myself really reacting to past trauma when I thought I was completely healed.

It is fitting then that emotional healing is the theme for this month, and now that schedules and households are back to normal it is a great time of year to dive deep. There really isn't a soul on this planet that doesn't need a little help with emotional healing, and I'm always so amazed by the bravery of my readers who are open to healing a wound.
